So, who’s been watching the World Cup?
Admittedly, I probably won’t be watching it as much, now that England have been thrashed by Germany, but I might catch up on it once in a while. I don’t know what it is about the World Cup but even those who don’t know jacksh*t about football or don’t even like it are being swept by the mania that is the World Cup. I mean, take me for example – I know absolutely diddlysquat about football but when the England vs. Slovenia game came around, I sat there shouting at my TV screen like there was no tomorrow.
Personally, I thought the England team had too much pressure on them. I mean practically everyone was like, “You HAVE to win it! You HAVE too,” and in the end, did they? Nope. I bet most England fans are blaming the manager, Fabio Capello, but excuse me – at the end of the day who is the one playing? Not the manager.
The headlines on the newspaper are really harsh this morning with one stating the team “Let their country down”. Way to push the team’s spirits lower than they already are! Jheeze. Some England fans are acting as if the Queen or someone equally as important (although, I don’t think the Queen is all that important because come to think of it what does she do?) has died. :
Anyway, moving on – my dress for my 18th arrived from the Philippines the other day. It is so beautiful. Seriously. I’ll show you guys a picture later on. I need to lose weight though :< The dress fits but it’s a little tight. -Sigh. I’ve already started exercising – and I’ve got to say I’m pretty motivated 🙂 For the past couple of days I’ve been doing 25 minutes in the morning and evening – I forgot what the machine I use is called but it’s really useful. I can feel the burn! I’ve also got my mum to get Wii Fit Plus – I’m going to pay her back in installments, so all is good. I am fully determined to fit into that dress, haha.
