What’s In My Bag?

Nancy recently did a ‘What’s In My Bag’ summer edition, and it looked like fun, so I thought I’d do one too!

I usually change my bag once a year, and I’m more of a backpack girl than handbag. That’s because I tend to carry my life with me when I go out, though.

I bought this bag just before I went away to New York, as I wanted something that durable but also big enough to hold my laptop and other essentials. I actually managed to grab this beauty on sale from Surfdome! I absolutely love the design and so far it’s been really good.

this isn't even all of what's in my bag

this isn’t even all of what’s in my bag

1 // Macbook Pro

I literally bring my laptop with me everywhere. I honestly don’t know what I would do without it, to be honest

2 // Book

There’s always a book in my bag, and at the moment I’m reading Cross Stitch by Diana Gabaldon

3 // Hand sani + hand cream

Y’all need to stay clean in London. It’s dusty, grimy and there are all sorts of germs. Be careful out there

4 // EE Power Bar

iPhone battery is sh*t. EE have recently started giving out free power bars which you can use to charge your phone on the go. If your power bar is depleted then you can go into any store and swap it for free ๐Ÿ™‚

5 // Sunglasses/glasses/cleaner

We’re actually having some nice weather in the UK for once, so I finally get to bust out my sunglasses. I still need my actual glasses to see, though

6 // Victoria’s Secret Pure Seduction

I got this in a 3 for 2 offer in Victoria’s Secret whilst I was in New York! It smells absolutely lovely, and I use it all the time

7 // 2015 Weekly Planner

This year I’ve actually become more organised, although there have been times where I’ve double booked myself. Haha

8 // Keys/umbrella/purse

Despite the good weather, it’s always best to carry your umbrella with you incase of freak rain. No joke. And of course, I always need my keys and purse! On my keys is my mini Batman Lego torch and Pig Rabbit ๐Ÿ™‚

Wasn’t joking when I said I bring my life with me when I go out. Ha! What’s in your bag?

Love your bookbag! I love the pattern on it, too!

Thanks for sharing what’s in your bag ๐Ÿ˜€ You carry some good things around! I especially adore your Pig Rabbit keychain! It’s so cute!

Thank you! I’ve had the Pig Rabbit keychain for a while now – I actually got it when I stopped over at Incheon airport, and I was obsessed with the kdrama You’re Beautiful, as well ๐Ÿ˜›

    Cute bag.

Also, cool idea. I might have to do this sometime on my blog.

I love the pattern of your backpack! You seem to prepared for any moments of down time with your laptop and book ๐Ÿ™‚ I used to always bring my 3DS or iPad mini with me, though I haven’t been lately. I also love portable chargers. I don’t carry mine around with me normally, but I always make sure I have one for a trip. That’s handy that you can swap the power bar at any store when it runs out!

You carry a lot of things with you! My bag typically has my wallet, compact camera, phone, keys, and other small things (like tissues, chapstick, etc).

Thank you! Haha, I always come prepared. I’m never bored ๐Ÿ˜› I used to carry my DS/PSP around too, but then I stopped. Portable chargers are very handy ๐Ÿ™‚

YAyayyayay for making the bag items post ;D. I like the pattern of your backpack, it looks like the birds are freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee in space. With the amount of stuff I have in my bag, I might as well have a backpack XD. I like how your planner looks. It looks like one of those DIY planners where you can slap on a thousand stickers to make it cutesy and stuff. I would totally carry my MBP around but wifi isn’t available everywhere and I rarely sit around at coffee shops D:.

I agree with you, the iPhone’s battery life is so bad after the first year or year and a half. I have to charge mine 2x+ a day @___@.

The Batman lego is cute ๐Ÿ™‚

Haha, they do don’t they! It is actually – it comes with loads of stickers, which I actually haven’t used sadly enough. I didn’t use to cary my laptop with me all the time, but since starting at the internship I have because the computer there is slow.

I’m seriously looking into getting a Samsung, but I’ve heard stuff about storage problems, etc. I guess all phones will always have some sort of issue.

It’s nice to know that I’m not alone with regards to bringing my ‘life’ into my bag! Hehe! ๐Ÿ™‚

      Haha, good to know! ๐Ÿ˜›

I used to carry my life everywhere too! XD I’ve learned to pare down and only bring the essentials. My phone has all the apps I need for entertainment on the go, so I’ve been able to leave my other devices behind. It’s definitely helped in taking off the extra weight. ๐Ÿ˜€

I really would love to carry around less, but because of work that’s just not possible atm T_T Hopefully soon, I won’t be breaking my back, aha.

Totally gotta do this! ^^ I enjoyed what’s in your bag!

Like practically everyone else who has commented, I like your backpack’s pattern. It’s quite pretty. We carry a lot of similar things (a laptop, hand sanitizer, a phone battery..). I suppose I’m a life in my bag type of person too, but normally I carry a big purse instead of a backpack because backpacks make me feel sweaty T_T and it’s more difficult to get things in/out of them on a whim. I make it a point, though, to carry as few books as possible. They’re so heavy. If I’m reading something for fun, I use my Kindle.

Thank you! My shoulders start to ache after while when I carry around big purses, hence why I wear backpacks. Although, there are some pretty ones that I’ve wanted to invest in ๐Ÿ™‚ I use my eReader sometimes, but I do prefer a paperback

I love your bag! I’m one for massive bags as well, but mine are usually full of boring stuff for work and such, so I doubt a post like this would be very exciting if I did one.

Been reading your posts on my phone recently, hence the lack of commenting. Too many shifts at work and a rubbish phone means I couldn’t comment very well, getting a new phone soon so hopefully that will help.

Love the Batman key-chain. I have a Lego Dobby one – they’re so cute.
