what it’s like to be a busy bee

Missed yesterday’s day – so, I’ll do it now before I forget again because I’ve gotten too busy

Day 20: What did you eat today? Picture if you want*

Well, seeing as this is for yesterday… I ate quite a lot that I couldn’t take a picture of all the foods I ate. Because I woke up late, it was already lunchtime so I had a chicken stuffing sandwich, bag of cheese & onion crisps and a bottle of water. We then went to see a teaser of this Asian film called “Confessions” and I snacked on some popcorn, Wotsits, Skittles and another bottle of water. For dinner I had two burgers which Rob helped make with me ๐Ÿ™‚ We then went out really late and I had a Chicken McNugget meal from Maccie D’s. I’m such a fattie D:

I have been ridiculously busy and it feels like it’s been ages since I last visited the site even though it was only 2 days ago. These presentations that I keep mentioning will actually be the death of me. I’m dying here – I’ve taken on most of the work for Tuesday’s presentation because, no offence, most of my group are incompetent and it pisses me off because these presentations are gonna be marked and go toward 50% of our overall grade. Which is a whole damn lot. Only two other girls in my group are alright and help me with load of the work but the others, argh (argh)

The presentation I did this morning a fail. Not literally because it wasn’t marked but it felt like a fail because only four out of the six members of our group came. One of them, their brother was in a car accident and the other one just didn’t even turn – no text or nothing. And then our lecturer picked our presentation apart bit by bit and showed us what was wrong with it, etc. Which is good because otherwise we’d be in the dark but still it wasn’t nice – although, he did it with every other group.

I have to meet my group tomorrow and I’ve got a driving lesson at 11, and then on Saturday I’m off to London again to visit Mutay and a really old friend who I haven’t seen in about 7 years or something like that. It’s going to be epic, though. Sunday is like my day off and then on Monday I’ve gotta meet up my other group and then on Tuesday is the presentation. And then it’s one of my mate’s birthday on the weekend, so she wants to go out and oh my gosh, I am going to be so exhausted. (cry)

Day 21: What do you look for in a guy/girl?

I look for humour. I love funny people but not overly funny people; that sarcastic, wit about them is what I like (which is what Rob has :]). I love pretty eyes as well and they obviously gotta be taller than me. Rob is a 6ft3 to my 5ft frame. Haha (heart)

Please take me now, university is getting hard. All I want to do is have fun (squidge)

a psw is a personal support worker. they are like nurses,
but dont do a lot of nursey things, if that makes sense. they help
those who are unable or need assistance. if i worked in their
homes, i would cook for them and prepare there food how they need
it, do light house keeping so its not nasty and gross, assist them
with their showers/baths if they require it, take their blood
pressure.. etc. things like that ๐Ÿ™‚ oh really? thats a lot… for
the rest of the year you have to do them? or.. thanks ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m glad
you like my new layout thats the only con about group projects; not
every participates and people dont even show up. maybe inform the
teacher of the slackers, that way they dont get the crdit for doing
nothing, because thats not fair at all! sounds like you have a very
busy weekend! wow, thats a long time you two havent seen each
other, i hope you guys have a great time ๐Ÿ˜€

Ouch, don’t overwork yourself! You’re making this blog become a chore now O_O If you’re busy then you’re busy, can’t help it. Everyone is busy xP

Sometimes I don’t like group projects especially if you don’t get to pick your team members. You just need to pick up the role of “leader/kick up the asser” to make them pull their weight and work their socks off because it isn’t just 50% that is yours but theirs as well. You need to drill this into them and share the workload. (I get bitchy when I take on this role but it does pay off and they start get annoyed when I start spamming their inboxes – email,facebook,mobile- lol! But if the other 2 people don’t do work I guess you just have to share their work between the rest of you and kinda ‘kick them out’/notify the lecturer/write it in your report who didn’t pull their weight. Doing this will make sure that all the work is done to ensure you’re eligible for the 100% mark and emphasising in the report who didn’t put effort into the project will show and they’ll be marked down. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m sure the teachers are able to see who has done work and who hasn’t.

You have a busy weekend! O_O Good Luck and hope you have fun at your mate’s birthday! ^__________^

P.S. Hehehe yes the stuff I bought is extremely cute isn’t it? XD I don’t want to use it lmao!

I HATE it when I’m in a group and some of the group memebers arent committed enough and are the reason you might fail; annoy me. Best of luck with everything!!!! xD
