What a weekend should be like.

I haven’t had a weekend as good as the one I just had in a loooooooong time. Definitely needed it, though, to take some time out from impending deadlines, etc. etc.

I took my sister, Donna, to Westfield for a spot of shopping on Friday. She doesn’t get pocket money (which is a bit unfair to her because I swear I had pocket money by the age of 11…) so she was a bit iffy about walking around a shopping centre without any money. We still had fun anyway and I treated her to a few things like this magazine that had free eyeliner (something that she loves) and new lilac nail polish from Models Own. We went into Urban Outfitters, which is pretty much the best looking store ever, and she went a little mad taking pictures in there for her own blog. Bless her.

I came away with two new nail polishes, nail wrap and two sets of earrings from Urban Outfitters (cross and peace signs). I also got this Harry Potter artifact box which is the best thing EVER. It contains a 3D picture of the original Order of the Phoenix, Harry’s acceptance letter to Hogwarts complete with envelope, the list of members of DA written in their writing too, Lily’s letter to Sirius, tickets to the Quidditch World Cup and a Hogwarts Express tag thing. It is amazinggggggg. I’ll have to take a picture and put it in my next blog.

On Saturday, Mutay came down from Coventry and we went up to Leicester Square to get some eats. Ended up in TGI Fridays which is probably my favourite restaurant ever. If you follow me on Instagram then you probably would have seen me posting pictures of everything that I ate (and drank. What?! I’m legal!) but if you don’t then let me continue… Steak, cajun prawn kebab, skin-on fries and cheesy mash with Jack Daniel’s sauce. Mojito. Mocha Mud Pie (chocolate mousse, coffee ice-cream, layered with chocolate biscuits and finely crushed Oreos). Wickedly indulgent. >:) We did want to go shopping but we ended up only going into a few shops because we were so full. I was so sleepy on the ride home.

We both met up with an old friend from our secondary school Sunday evening which was fun. We got to meet her boyfriend who is also sweet. They kept bickering like an old married couple but apparently that’s their thing. Got stuffed on buffalo wings and Mutay and I were both drunk by 10PM. What has our life become? ._. Alcholic in the making.

We both went to see 21 Jump Street on Monday. Funniest. Film. Channing Tatum is the love my life. With his big, muscly self. Hmmm. Jonah Hill was hilarious as well, especially the fact that he used to dress like Eminem when he was in high school. I was crying. ‘F**K YOU, SCIENCE!’ My surprise when Johnny Depp popped up at the end! He’s so f’in adorable and beautiful and ungh.. The film was based on a TV show in the 80s in which Johnny Depp was the main star hence why he was there. Cameos are muy fun. I’ve been watching the TV show now because of JD. HE’S SO CUTE. He looked like a baby back in the day and I just want to hug him to death. He’s suave as eff as well. E: We then we to a Mexican restaurant called Chiquito to eat. Spicy chicken quesadilla and fries, anyone? Mutay got tipsy off some drink called Peach Bellini. I don’t know what was in it but that it is the devil’s drink and it made her go all silly. I just had a strawberry margarita and a strawberry daiquiri. Yummy.

All in all it was a pretty good weekend! Definitely needed it with my two deadlines that I had to do. I had one deadline last week which I thought I was fine for because I had to hand it in online but apparently they wanted a paper copy as well, so I had to ask my friend to hand in my coursework for me because I wasn’t in Coventry! Stress. Luckily my other deadline wasn’t so bad, and I even managed to finish my work a day before it was due.

My new iPhone case came this morning. I’m on some Avengers craze at the moment (highly explainable, I mean have you seen the film?!) and ordered a Captain America case from eBay. I’m planning to get all the other ones, so I can swap when I feel like it. Hehe.

That is indeed a wonderful weekend. Looks like you did have a great time with your sister and friend 🙂 Is she really only 11? I have my sister also, same age with her and she didn’t even know how to apply nail polish and wear fashionable clothes. hahaha! But anyway, I really like that Captain America case, it’s so simple yet pretty design. Will definitely look forward to your next post with the picture of the HP items!

P.S Can we exchange links? 😀

Wow okay. Thanks for explaining to me about The Avengers! I didn’t read the book so didn’t know about it. >.<

The Avengers iPhone case looks awesome. Captain America rocks! How much did you buy it for?

I never knew there was other malls called Westfield in other places outside of southern california :O! It’s nice that you and your sister still had fun walking around the mall and taking pictures :P. I heard of Urban Outfitters before, but never really bothered to look into the store :/.

For a fact, I saw some of the pictures that was taken on Instagram from TGI’s. I love their steaks and burgers :)! You must really love your drinks :P. With all of these margaritas and daiquiri :O!

You must love the Avengers that much! I’ve seen the movie and it was really nice. But I’m just an average fan of it. XD.

    Take care(:
