Today, I don’t feel like doing anything.

Are you ready?

I mean it… are you seriously ready?

Okay… Here is goes.

I will repeat… I. AM. GOING. TO. CHINA!

Can you believe it? It is still like a dream to me, at the moment. I am STILL waiting for it to sink in, although, to be honest Mutay (my best friend) is probably more speechless than me. Haha!

I’d like to say thank you to all the well-wishers and I’d like to believe that it was your support that got me the place to China!

To think, I’ll be spending the first semester of my second year in China?! It’s quite… exciting! VERY exciting, actually. There were only 4 of us on my course who applied to go but only two of us got chosen which a bit sad because it would have been so cool if ALL us got to go but ah well. My friend and I you are going to China (I love repeating the fact that I’m going to China!) are pretty much ecstatic!

There is so much to sort out… like what I’m going to bring for my 3 months there, money for when I go there, vaccinations, what I’m going to do about accommodation here now. Argh! Now that I’ve found out that I’m going to China, I’ve had to put the search for a house on hold. Obviously, I don’t want to be paying 3 months rent for a place when I won’t even be there. I’ve phoned a couple of estate agents and they said it’s best to wait until November time and we’ll be able to get a house. I want to move in with Rob but if it’s this difficult then obviously I’ll wait until November. Unless, of course, I find a place that does less than 10 months contract then I’d be fine but I’m going to talk to my Mum and get some advice.

I also have to check if my passport is still valid, haha.

I’m currently packing for my Easter break – I’ll be home pretty much the whole of April, which is pretty exciting. I’ve missed home! I’m going to visit my old high school on Wednesday with Mutay that shall definitely bring back a lot of memories. I may even get to taunt my old teachers again! Haha. Going to meet Mutay’s boyfriend for the first time. That’s always exciting, meeting your best friend’s boyfriend. Haha.

I won’t get to see Rob much this Easter because he’s had to stay up here in Coventry because he has a lot of coursework and about 4 exams he has to revise for. Sad times. He’ll be coming up to London for a couple of days but that’s it (cry)

Anyway, if you guys could do me a big favour and help toward my China fund. Pretty please (squidge) Any amount will do, really. I’m just hoping to raise a little money to put toward anything I need for my time at the university, like books or whatever. Exciting 😀

I got reviewed by Nancy of and got 9/10 – WOOO! Thanks for the advice Nancy 😀

Chynna x

WOW. China. That sounds so surreal to someone who’s never traveled outside the US (other than Mexico but that’s not really as exotic as friggin’ CHINA).

I’m sure you’ll love it. Enjoy it while it lasts, who knows when you’ll get to have another chance like that? 🙂

THAT’S SO COOL! I’m glad you decided to go; it’ll be a great experience!!
Yay for spring break almost being here! I only get a week off, but I’m pretty excited about it! I hope that all of your housing issues get sorted out.

It was just this shirt. :/

That’s really awesome that you get to go China after all! I’m surprised that only a little bit of people signed up to be honest. Probably if it were Japan or something (assuming the earthquake hadn’t happened) more people would have signed up. Who cares for them because you get to go anyways, right? 😉

Hopefully you guys find a place soon. I know I would freak if I still had to pay rent even though I technically wasn’t staying there, so it’s a good thing you planned ahead and called.

^o^ whoa, congrats on getting to go to China! ♥
Take a pic of the Chinese airport for me please.
Where are you staying now?, why can’t you stay there?
Finding a new place seems to stressful.
    you’re the perfect height. ^^

Chynna’s going to CHINA 🙂 yay!!!! So when do you leave? and come back? (will it affect the contest…?)

and it’s probably better to just wait till November – you could get Rob to find some houses, and then the two of you can decide when youg et back?

you should really give fasting a go – it doesn’t have to be 30 hours, it can be less 🙂 I think it really gives you a clear perspective on how other people have to live sometimes 🙂

and thanks for the hover effect 🙂 hehe

I am happy that you are being able to go to China! :)! :O lets hope the radiation around there isn`t too bad due to the horrors in Japan :/. Whats better than going to china is that you have a friend going with you so you`re not alone :P!

The best thing to do for these situations is plan everything out.. BY PAPER! Whether you need a 3×5 card or a 20×40 poster. You need to plan things out by paper. Or computer if you`re spiffy enough 😛

I hope you`ll have fun this month 😛 seems like you have lots of plans going on :O! Its like. Fun to visit your old cschools 😛 I haven`t even visited my middle and elementary school. Because my elementary schools has new teachers, middle has no one special, and high school… I`m in it now XD!

I hope you`ll get enough money for your china fund 😛 I`d donate but I`m digitally broke :(! There’s a lot of alternatives :P! If you’re really into needing the money, FUNDRAISE! D:! I hate doing that, but we gotta do what we gotta do! 😛

    Take care ^__^

  9. April 4, 2011 / 10:42 am

I am jealous 😛 I wish I could go to China. But I don’t think I will be able to because my mother doesn’t seem like she wants too take me their anytime soon. So, yes. XD But hopefully at somepoint in time I will save up money to go. Good Luck on the house hunting in China, eat some authentic chinese food for meh XD Byes 😀

AW YAYAYAY! 😀 I’m so glad you got accepted! That’s so cool! FOR 3 MONTHS! You’re going to have so much fun, especially since you’re friend is going too!

Our one year was fun. Aw, are you not going to be there because you’ll be in China? :/ That stinks. You could still like skype and stuff though, if that’s the case.

Disney films are the best! 😀

  11. April 6, 2011 / 12:57 pm

you’re going to China!!! you’re going to China!!! you’re going to China!!! you’re going to China!!!
congratulations!!! Enjoy the break! 🙂 and.. Oh, China!! Im happy for you! 🙂

  12. April 6, 2011 / 4:48 pm

OMG, you’re going to China! Wooop! I am so excited for you. If it were me, I would probably be scared shitless. I live in a joint family and though I regularly groan and moan about the lack of privacy, I would probably die alone. I have four cousins and life is a party, but to each his own.
All this is very interesting. Thank God you have a friend with you.
Good luck with all the details! Don’t forget anything important. *Hugs* Would you be able to come online as regularly?

I don’t have a debit/credit card but I can definitely spread the word through social networking websites, can’t I?

Thank you. Although, I think anybody would have stopped to help an old man in need. It is not niceness, just aversion to cruelty.

Oh yeah. Mother’s Day, as well as her anniversary just the next day. I give her a combined gift, saves me money. 😛

I know, I know! I cried my eyes out more because of the fact that the HP series have ended than Harry had married Ginny! I was so betrayed.
When Deathly Hallows II comes out, I would probably hide in my bedroom for days. The end of a saga. *Weeps*

  13. April 6, 2011 / 10:46 pm

Wow, lucky! You actually get to go to CHINA!! Haha.

Hope you have a good Easter break! 🙂

  14. April 7, 2011 / 2:36 pm

(hi) I think that you are so so lucky! I would really love going to China. Well, not only to China, because, you know, my dream is to visit the entire planet. We are living here, why to do not know our planet? :))
