this train journey is very long

The first half of this blog has been written on the train on the way to Coventry.

In my last post, I mentioned that my train was at 10:54AM but my mother thought it would be an excellent idea to wake me up at 7! 7, I tell you! >.< That is an absurd to be up. And then she made me leave at 8, when her and Donna were leaving as well. Luckily, there was a train at 9:54AM so my waking my early wasn’t wasted. 2 hours on the train, though, lovely. I couldn’t afford a train that would only take an hour but if I’m honest, this train is better than the Virgin train because there’s much more space.

Mama is so sweet, though, because she helped me pack my suitcase last night and she ironed everything as well. Thank I didn’t have to iron anything because I DID bring a lot of clothes, some of which I didn’t end up wearing. I was in jeans, tee shirt and hoodie for most of the holiday. :3

My lectures start tomorrow, something of which I am half looking forward to. My course is interesting and some of the things that we learn is new to me, so it’s nice to learn something new other than what I’ve already learnt in Media Studies back at A Level. (peace) My tutor has warned us that the teacher for one of the modules is extremely strict, so, I’m kind of nervous about that. We’ll be learning more theories, etc. which I’m not looking forward to because that’s a more essay based module and I’m better at practical productions.

I’m starting another new module on Wednesday, which is my Add+vantage. We HAVE to do this module as part of our degree otherwise we shall fail, miserably. I’ve taken up “An Introduction to Adobe Photoshop” and I just found out this morning that one of friends on my course has been swapped into my class, so at least I won’t be alone. :]

I’m currently passing through fields of green and I can spot the odd sheep. Lovely. Until, later!

My module that was supposed to be on Wednesday is now on Thursday from 4 until 6PM. I don’t have to wake up at 9am!

We have a new student ID card now called the Phoenix card, which is green and white. It’s all right looking but I still like the old card better. I went over to my friend’s house and we watched Step Up 3, which is a really good film. Harry Shum, Jr. who plays Mike Chang in Glee is in it! 😀 I was so happy to see him in it, haha.

My first lecture is at 11.30AM. I love lie-ins.

Day 4: What is the last film you watched? Write about it.

I watched Step Up 3 today which I thought was a really good film. The plotline is okay, if a bit cheesy but the dancing is the best part of the film. I especially like the part when they are dancing in the water. Absolutely fab.

  • What was the last film you watched?
  • Was it any good?
  • How was your weekend?

I can see my ad up 😀 hehe and i’ve linked you back.. you’re in a text rotation on my sidebar 😀 x

I loved step up, but only because of the dancing. I agree – the plotline was a little…. meh. lol

Wow! you excited to get back to lectures, and that whole life? your courses sound interesting… good luck in them! and don’t worry about the strict teacher, i’m sure you just need to keep up with your work, and you’ll be fine 😀 xx

You poor baby. You had to get up at 7. It’s cruel, to get up so early.
Since I now have my holidays I wake up at 9 and get out of my bed at 12.
    I love it! 😛

The last film I watched was- Tees Maar Khan- a hindi movie.
It was awful! So dumb and illogical. That one guy- the hero, himself manages to injure 20 guys.
What is it?!?! :O I felt like pulling my hair watching it.

My weekend though was wonderful, since we got the news that we’ll have 1 week’s extended holidays.

I don’t have the courage to make the cake now. Lol. 🙁
Maybe, I’ll try it again later, but in my home, every one’s scared of m cooking now. 😛
I didn’t knew what a guacamole was, and I saw the pictures of it on google.
    It seems delicious. *drool*
