I really shouldn’t eat so much. Especially with the fact that I don’t go to the gym D:
Honestly, though, if you went to where my family and I went today, you bloody well would stuff yourself (yum) We went to this restaurant called Cosmo because it was my auntie’s birthday. There was this BIG group of us, like ridiculously big – most were friends of my auntie but I wouldn’t be surprised if I were related to some of them in some way. I met this lady who apparently I was very close to when I was little but I don’t remember her which is a little sad.
Messing about outside Cosmo
Cosmo is a Pan-Asian restaurant and there were LOADS of different dishes from places like Japan, Korea, China, India, etc. It was absolutely immense. I’ve been to Cosmo before back in Coventry but the one we went to was WAY bigger. I overloaded my plate on the first go and oh my gosh, the food was absolutely divine. Although, this lamb dish was entirely too fruity for my liking. I had noodles, prawns wrapped in pastry, aromatic roast pork, mushroom fried in garlic, beef in black bean sauce – it all just so yummy (pig)
This is actually my mother’s plate. I was too busy eating mine to take a picture :]
There dessert area was bloody amazing. I was totally gushing when I saw they had a chocolate fountain and they had marshmallows and pieces of fruit you could dip into it. And they had so many different types of fruit and chocolate. And the flavours of icecream! Right, if any of you guys decided to come to the UK – take a trip to Cosmo. They have several different branches – so, you have no excuse! 😀
Here are some more pictures:
I had some strawberry icecream with pineapple pieces. By this point, I was stuffed to the brim.
I had a good time at the restaurant, that’s for sure. We went to Lola’s* afterward and the biggest nap EVER. You know when you eat a lot and feel sleepy? I felt like that. I’m alright now after that nap. My Lola said I’d dropped a few pounds but I don’t know how she came to that conclusion seeing as I had just eaten this huge amount of food. Haha.
Day 17: Last post you made on your blog that doesn’t involve a challenge?
Seemed like such a long time ago that I last wrote a blog without a challenge! My last post was about cooking and how Rob said my chicken tikka masala was better than the one in the restaurant :] Click here to read.
