party in the hiz-house

University is a fun place. I guarantee that. However, it is also VERY hectic. Especially, when you’re trying to find a place to live in next year. There have been so many changes as to who I was going to be living with next year; it just made my head heart.

First, I was meant to be living with Rob and one of my housemates but then my housemate was thinking to just renew her contract on the place where we are staying now, so it was just going to be Rob and I. However, we had a discussion and figured it may be a bit too fast to be moving in together despite the fact that we would have two seperate rooms, etc. So, my friend said I could live with her but she’s living with 3 other girls and I don’t know them that well. I mean, I’d rather live with people I know quite well and the only person I know out of them is my friend. Finally, we’ve decided that Rob, my original housemate and me are going to live together.

We’re looking for places now but we’ve gotta be fast because they go quite quick and I want to get everything out of the way now before everybody gets stressed with exams and stuff and can’t think about where to live for next year. I have a ton of coursework – submission date for April 1st but I’m not sure when the other one it due. I also have my last presentations next week – so excited, not.

I feel lucky with the amount of work I have at the moment, though because I know one friend who is doing Fashion and for her coursework she has to fill in 3 sketchbooks that are like 140 pages long, make an outfit and come up with a fashion marketing plan – dayuuuummm. She was telling me how she’s just been stressed and how she was crying and her dad had to phone her and give her a pep talk. I cannot image doing that amount of work – I’d probably have a breakdown, as well.

Oh wow, that sounds like you have a ton of things going on right now, especially all that coursework and presentations, I know how hectic it can be, and your poor friend. She’s really lucky to have a dad though who’d give her a pep talk!

Wow, hopefully you’ll be going to China..will it be during the summer though if you do get accepted.

I’m so sorry that I just saw your comment on my blog now, thank you so much for commenting first of all and second of all it’s really nice to meet you (via cyberspace lol)

A lot of people are into 2NE1 they’re very popular that’s why. Dalmation is just a new group up and coming, so they’re not that popular.

I know it really is, no one can see what you’re saying so you can say whatever you want to unless you give out your URL to people..but then again why would you do that right?

We once had this workshop on fashion designing because our teachers wanted girls in my class who were so into “fashion” and wanted to make it a career to know the real deal. The woman who’d conducted the workshop was really smart, and had graduated from one of the top fashion schools in the country and told us how sometimes people have to go three days without sleep to complete projects on time. It sounded hectic.
I read your post on China, its very interesting. Good luck with it, and also with the university. It sounds incredibly amazing.

Thank you! I like the layout too. It makes me smile. 🙂
Ooh, my exams are done and I am cloud one hundred one right now.

I’ve always heard from my siblings how painful finding a roommate is and my brothers got weirdos for a while before they knew anyone. xD I think it’s good that you and Rob both agreed that you guys weren’t ready to room just by yourselves. Thankfully your original roommate decided to come back. That would’ve sucked if you had to room with all those people you didn’t know. :/

Ooh! You’ll have to tell us how that meeting goes. That’d be so awesome if you were accepted. Good luck!

Yeah, I’m going with my French club with school. I’m really looking forward to is as I’ve been out of the country before and I love to travel. I heard Italy is wonderful; my brother went there and his pictures are gorgeous. I’m looking forward to Italy a little more than France. When did you go to Italy?

Lol, yeah, I didn’t get the overdraft. I don’t think I’ll need it because I’m not going to be using the account very seriously anytime soon, but I think it’s just a good idea not to have it. xD

Trying to find a job is such a pain, so good luck to you too!

    Thanks. 🙂

You and Rob can sleep in one room and the baby in the next room.
    lol, 😀 jk
I hope you get to go to China. A lot of college students seems to be going their a lot.

Yup. I love Uni but sometimes it can be very hectic. I live in a rental appartment that’s not affiliated with the university but some of my friends live in Uni rental appartments and are always stressing out when the time of moving comes – because you can only stay in those appartments for a certain amount of time before finding a new place.

University is supposed to be fun and hectic! :)! Thank god you don`t have a schedule full of classes! :P! Or you`d go mentally insane XD! I can`t imagine about me going to university. :/. Even though I have low expectations of em D:!

I always thought renting a house out and splitting the cost with friends is a good idea :P! Hope the plan with Rob and your friend goes alright :P! Its better to live with people you already know. Because sometimes, trouble stirs up that way. From watching an episode or two of Teen Mom 2 -__-.

Good luck with the school work that has to be done! April first is just next Friday! D:! If I have that much work to do, I`d go crzy. Oh the life of a university student. 😛 Its all for success isnt it? 🙂

Hope the plan with going to China will go on alright ^__^! Good luck :D!

As long as you aim for improvement, it is cool ^__^! I`m like stuffled if I should feel bad about what I said before to you :X! But I know you can always do better. So. Why not. :P. I think everyone with lengthy blog posts can produce lengthy comments! My philosophy P:

Thank you for the wishes of luck (:!

I think every subject is important for school. I wished I can learn German at my school. I can`t imagine how awesome that would be :P! But I guess. Its time to learn it at home D:!

    Take care :D!

It’s nice that youre actually enjoying university life. I am enjoying it as well. Though its hectic, the feeling of being a bit more independent is awesome, right? 🙂 I dont know, I like it more that I liked high school but I guess these two different points in our lives are incomparable.
And hey, goodluck on the China thing! I hope you can make it! 🙂

  8. March 25, 2011 / 11:01 pm

aww, thanks 🙂 is it weird that I love hovering over them too…? i sometimes just spend a few seconds hovering over, and marvelling at the fact that it changes colors, and that I did that 🙂 could I ask how you have your hover effect for your buttons etc? I’ve always wanted to try implementing something like that, but never botehered to find out…

that was really nice of your friend! to offer to move in with you and rob 🙂 i hope you guys find somewhere nice to live soon 🙂

OMG! i’m so excited for our contest 🙂 🙂 tonnes of people have said they’ll offer advertising 🙂 so that’s GREAT news!

and wow, your fashion school friend sounds like she’s got it tough! i hope my uni experience isn’t that exhausting! x

  9. March 26, 2011 / 2:20 pm

WOW SOUNDS BUSY! I hope you get everything done and organised! 🙂

I hope you guys find somewhere to live soon. I don’t think I can ever live with someone straight away. It would be pretty weird, I don’t see how people do it! They are cool lol. 😀 I’d be awkwardly in the house looking for my parents’ help.

  10. March 27, 2011 / 4:30 pm

Switching houses like that sounds pretty exciting to me, but it would be a pain to pack and unpack and all that jazz. I’m not excited for that part of college.
And that really is a lot of work! I guess that people who are truly passionate about what they do could handle it, but the stress of having a grade or the possibility of flunking would catch me over. I’d cry all over the place. 🙁 I hope your friend’s ok though.

    thank you ^_^

  11. March 27, 2011 / 8:57 pm

Sadly, far too many people jump to conclusions these days.

I don’t know who Rob is, but moving in together whether you’re good friends or dating can be a big step; you may get tired of each other really quickly. Hopefully you find a place before exam time though; I know it can be a bit stressful managing two important things at the same time.

But wow, I feel bad for your friend. o_o That’s a lot of shit to do for just a fashion major.

  12. March 30, 2011 / 3:16 am

Woahhhh there. You definitely have A LOT going on! I wish you all the best of luck, you surely need it.

I can’t wait to go to College here in the states. Just because I’ll have a bit more freedom. I’m not excited about all the work that will have to be done though o.O

I have just 1 more year after this one. I’m really not even that excited anymore. It’s still school and I hate school -___-

  13. March 30, 2011 / 3:20 am

Gaaah! I’d love to have that kind of university life! Living on your own (or with housemates) sounds really fun and exciting, it gives you that sense of independence (which I’ve been deprived of for so long lol)~ It’s better to live with people you really know though, you’d feel safer and more comfortable. I had some blockmates who had to share their room with complete unknowns and weren’t really getting along well with them. Zero at-home atmosphere at all. Lol.

And good luck with the China thing! I’m reading your older posts right now :3

  14. April 1, 2011 / 2:41 am

Good luck with the house/apartment/or whatever hunting! 😛 And good luck with the presentations and school work!

You’ve had your meeting for China by now… hopefully you found out some good news! 🙂
