Liebster Award: Part 3

As it’ll take me a while to post up all my travel posts, I’ve decided to fill the spaces between posts with random ones. This post is actually well overdue, as I was nominated AGES ago, but I’ve only had the chance to answer them now!

Thanks for nominating me Julia and be sure to check out her answers!

1. What’s a birthday wish you had that came true?

I don’t really make birthday wishes, but one of the one’s I have done that I wish came true was for a puppy.

2. How do you cope with stress and anxiety?

By retreating into my shell like a hermit crab. I take with me all the televisions shows and good books.

3. What’s a common misconception about you?

That I am a loud and outgoing person, but actually I am extremely shy.

4. What’s something you are afraid of blogging about?

Alopecia

5. Name a blog that is underrated.

Amy at Mamyology.com. I love her creative writing posts!

6. Name a song that is a guilty pleasure.

Blank Space – Taylor Swift

7. What’s the coolest place in the city/town you are living in?

All of London is cool, but I particularly love Camden. Especially it’s food market.

8. Name the coolest sounding language. Name the worst.

Definitely Korean. I would love to learn it one day as well. Maybe all those hours of watching kdramas will pay off one day. I think German, whilst not the worst, really doesn’t sit with me well. Sorry!

9. Describe what you would be like as the opposite sex.

Extremely vulgar, and still just as short!

10. What’s the most disgusting meal you’ve ever had?

Hmm, I can’t think of one right now.

11. What’s the greatest meal you’ve ever had?

Korean BBQ at Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong in Korea Town, NYC. Honestly, it gave me so much life, and I really really really want to go back.

Here are my 11 questions:

  • What is your song of the week?
  • If you had buried treasure, where would you hide it?
  • What film could you watch over and over again?
  • Do you have any strange habits?
  • Have you ever visited a fortune teller?
  • Is there anything pink within 10 feet of you?
  • Do you have any pets?
  • What is your favourite pizza topping? Describe your perfect pizza.
  • Can you taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke?
  • What is the one thing you will never do again?
  • What’s your dream vacation?

Anyone is free to answer these questions, but I personally tag Holly, Joy, Michelle and Tara! Can’t wait to see your answers, amigos 🙂

Hey, thanks for the nomination! 😀 I’ll be blogging my answers to your questions soon!

And WOOT. It’s fascinating that you find Korean to be the coolest sounding language 😀 I speak it, and what I love about it is that 1) It’s very similar to Japanese in some ways, so knowing one helps knowing the other (well, speaking-wise. Writing-wise, Korean’s way easier!) and 2) I love the Jeolla-do dialect 😀 My mum’s family is from that region, so I picked up on some of the conjugation that’s not found in Seoul dialect, and it’s FUN. It sounds awesome, too!

Also, you having the best meal — a Korean one at that! — in NYC? That’s pretty cool! Girl, if you love Korean food that much, you need to get your butt to Seoul now! I guarantee you’ll love it! ^^

      Looking forward to your answers!

Korean has always fascinated me. I also lvoe Korean music – it just sounds so good. I would love to learn it, alongside Spanish which is another language I love. I actually took basic Japanese in my third year of university, but I never continued it. That’s another language I’d like to learn properly, too.

Seoul is right at the top of my travel list, so you’ll definitely see me there some time soon. I’ll go raid a bank, first. Haha!

Thanks for the link, glad you like my posts!

I love German, everything sounds angry it’s great. And Camden is awesome, my favourite place to go in London. I love all the cartoon T-shirts they have there, some great artists as well!

      Your posts are amazing! 🙂

My boyfriend actually lives really close to Camden, so it’s just made me fall in love with it even more. I love exploring it because I find something new every time! x

There’s actually nothing like that up here really. So jealous!

Hurray for another liebster award! You should’ve wished for a Steve Rogers to show up at your doorstep and become your boyfriend :D! I wouldn’t mind that ;). German sounds like a really angry language sometimes. Every time I hear it, it sounds like someone is yelling in anger while they’re actually calm. But despite all of that, I wouldn’t mind learning it. Korean BBQ is soOOOoOooo delicious! You need to come by our KBBQ in LA once you come ;).

What interesting questions and answers. I agree that London is an incredibly cool city. There’s so much to do there. I’ve only been once in my life, but it was fun and everyone was shockingly polite. I’ve never thought of Korean as sounding cool, but I suppose it does. I bothered to learn it. ^^; I think Japanese sounds quite cool, though. It can easily make both gentle/sweet and really scary sounds.

You should come visit again! Yes, we are very polite and get disgruntled about things like queuing, haha. It’s an amazing city with so many things to discover 🙂 I agree, Japanese does sounds quite cool! x
