last post of 2010

Mama has cooked a feast today. There’s chicken chowmein, fried chicken, springrolls, rice and prawns wrapped in filo pastry. Oh, did I tell you? I’m not allergic to prawns anymore! Joy. My sister and I went for a prawn challenge and they tested us to see if we could eat prawns now because it came up negative on our last allergy test. We stayed in the hospital for the whole day and they monitored us when we ate a little bit more prawns as the day went by. By the end of the day, we tested positive for being allowed to eat prawns. I tell you, being able to eat prawns has definitely opened more possibilities for eating choices – my mum can finally cook prawns and not be the only one who can eat them and Rob can cook more options for me because most of the stuff he likes to cook has stuff that I’m allergic to :(. I tell you what, though, prawns are well nice with chilli sauce.

I can’t believe that today is the last day of 2010. It’s actually quite unbelievable how fast 2010 actually went. A lot of things have happened this year for me though, what with me starting uni and going off a big ol’ adventure and meeting Rob along the way. October was definitely my month with August closely following when I had my 18th birthday party which definitely the best party I’ve ever had. I’ve learnt a lot this year like who my true friends really are and I feel that I have grown up since going to uni. Obviously, I’m still a bit childlike. I can’t help it!

I don’t like these people who are like, “2010 was shit! 2011 is definitely my year!” or “New Year. New Me!”. Uhm, shut up. Why do you have to wait a whole year to change who you are? If you really wanted to change, you would do then. Also, 2011 will probably be just the same as 2010. Most of the changes that the government has made over here will take place in 2012; so, if anything, 2012 is gonna be shit. 2010 was shit because I bet most of the people who said it voted Conservative in the Election and well, now look what’s happening. Bloody fees going up left, right and center. Taxes, etc. RIDIC. Enough, downisms! New Year soon. I’m excited to see the fireworks! Oh yes, last night was well decent I’ll have to admit. We went to Reflex first but it was SO dead inside, so we went to Yates which is just across the road and they were playing WAY better music. I’ll have to admit that most of the songs there were as I would say “black people music” so out of my friends I knew most of the songs.. Ahem. It was still fun though; I had a few drinks too many though and I am such a lightweight it’s ridiculous. I had to take a taxi home and emptied the contents of my stomach in the early hours of the morning in my bathroom. Lovely. 😐 It was still a fun night though; and I can remember most of it. Haha.

I’m currently working on a 2011 layout, so wish me luck and I’ll see you guys next year! (Geddit? HAHA!)

Sounds like an awesome feast right there :D! I love springrolls! But only if there is baked fish in it :P! I think its baked catfish :O!

Aggh! Good thing you are not allergic to prawn anymore :D! Hehe that prawn challenge sounds fun, yet…It is a inconvenience :/. Having the possibility to eat more variety of food is amazing ;D

I agree with you- you don`t need to use the new year as an excuse to change. You can change anytime- as long as you do it! 😀

I hope you`l have an awesome new year (:

What are prawns? I swear I did not know that you could have “not” be allergic to something that you were once allergic too. Didn’t know they had allergy tests either. There goes my lesson for the day >.<

I hate when people say those things too. Especially about changing, knowing they aren't changing a darn thing. Now the new trend is everyone saying "New Year, Same Me" and yada yada. It's annoying for me because those are the same peeps that claimed they were changing last year -_-

Happy New Year! I just think 2011 has a lot in store.

Whenever Rob happened had to have been special.

Eh, feeling down because I guess I just want everything I CAN'T have and the more I know I can't have it the more I want it.

You always hear me squeel like a little girl when i drop my phone… actually, i squeel a lot, which is really weird considering the kinda person i am. My friend made it a mission last year to make me squeel like a puppy getting his tail run over every class we had together, because he thought it was entertaining 😛 lol

I agree the people who say 2010 sucks and 2011 is gonna be better are irritating!

and YAY for you! you can eat prawns now 😀 hehe and other stuff 😀 did you build a tolerance for it, or were you just never allergic?
