Keep Calm and The Doctor’s Back.

As I write this, it will be 1 hour and 5 minutes until Doctor Who: Series 7 airs in the UK. For anybody that doesn’t know – I am THE biggest Doctor Who fan you’ll probably ever meet. I’ve watched every single episode since it aired back in 2005, own the boxset, A LOT of Doctor Who merchandise – that includes action figures, books, graphic novels, DS games, t-shirts, etc., can quote it from the top of my head, watched the film that nobody that flopped in the US but everybody secretly loves in the UK, watched some of the old episodes, just EVERYTHING.

If you ever saw how excited I am right now, you’d think I’m high.

However, that is not just want to talk about in this blog post. I haven’t blogged in a while because I’ve been super duper busy in-between Mutay’s birthday and then another close friend’s birthday and then Mutay’s birthday dinner I’ve only just found time to blog now. Also, I’m writing this quickly because Doctor Who is airing soon and I need to mentally prepare myself.

Mutay’s birthday was sooo fun. We went to the Science Museum, a place we both haven’t been in ages. We decided to get an explorer ticket which includes a 4D experience to the moon, an IMAX film and a 3D simulated flight. It was well cool! I loved the 4D experience to the moon – there were bubbles, things were splashed on you, the seats moved; definitely something I want to do again. Plus the IMAX film was amazing – the screen was massive and it literally felt like I could stick my head inside the screen and just step into the film. And when the 3D kicked in it felt like it was actually flying at me.

I made Mutay cupcakes for her birthday – specifically vanilla and lemon cupcakes and I frosted them with lilac icing because that’s her favourite colour. Aren’t I awesome?

One of my closest friends, Sham, had a birthday dinner on Thursday. It was a last minute thing, so we only went to Nandos but it was still fun. I got to meet some of her Team Minaj UK people – they are crazy. I don’t know what you’ve heard about Team Minaj but let me tell you – they LOVE Nicki. I mean LOOOVE her.

It was Mutay’s birthday dinner last night and that was a fun affair. We had dinner at Cotton’s, a Caribbean restaurant, and the food there was so nice! I was literally stuffed when I finished eating. It was nice meeting up with friends I haven’t seen in ages, friends from uni and meeting new people as well. All in all, it was a good night. Plus, I got hair extensions now so I got to whip my hair and show off. No biggie.

PS. Mutay has left me to fend for myself for 2 weeks. :'(

Wow… obsessed much? lol I’m the same way with my show Fringe. Question though… isn’t Doctor Who a much older show that has gone through several revamps… do you ever watch the super old episodes?

Going to the science museum on a birthday? That’s so randomly awesome. What was the coolest thing you learned?

Damn girl, you made it quite clear that you live and breathe Dr. Who. I’m sure you’re very engrossed and obsessing over it right now. Enjoy, enjoy!

SCIENCE MUSEUM FTW. That place will forever be of interest to me. I’m always so fascinated by the exhibits. I’m glad that you had a great time. ๐Ÿ˜€

You’re obviously the bestest friend ever if you made her cupcakes.

I didn’t even know there was an official “Team Minaj” Damn. That’s cool.

Good luck surviving the 2 weeks Mutay is gone. You have Dr. Who to keep you company, don’t worry.

Wow, the 4D experience sounds awesome. I’ve never heard of anything like that. I will have to try it if I ever find some place that has that here. Enjoy your Dr. Who show. Don’t hurt me but I’ve never watched it before haha.

I hope you enjoyed watching the Doctor Who Series 7 :)! Seeing how you watched every episode of Doctor Who and have plentiful of merchandise, you’re definitely a true fan. Being a Doctor Who and The Avengers fan mixes well together ;).

It seems like you’re really getting yourself busy and productive. Hopefully, everything turned out great and everyone had lots of fun and laughed. At least all of you can have alcohol! Haha.

I am happy that you had fun with Mutay at the science museum! Wow, you definitely got the fine experience of going to the mood in 4D. That is something I wouldn’t mind trying out ever. It sounds way better than what most people do for their birthdays ;). You’re an awesome friend for making Mutay cupcakes too. Everything there sounds delicious. Regardless of your close friends having a last minute dinner, you still made things work. Ahhh, I’m jealous that you have the wonderful opportunity into going to all of these fancy-sounding restaurants. My friends & I always keep it simple and at the most.. Eat at the Cheesecake Factory.

Don’t worry about fending yourself for 2 weeks ;). One of my close friends left me fending for another year or so -___-! Oh, college.

I think there is a British Dream- except I don’t know what it is. You’re a true Britain chick, you define it XD! Mini Coopers are nice too~ ๐Ÿ™‚

    Take care ;D!

I did a little happy dance when I saw the released premiere date, and now I cannot wait to watch the new season!!!! Though, I still have a little bit of catching up to do on Matt Smith’s last season, but that’ll be my little project this weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚
And ah, birthdays are the best. Hope it was a blast!

I’m meeting a lot of bloggers who are huge fans of Doctor Who! I really need to check this show out D: I feel like I’m missing out on a really good show.

I haven’t been in a museum for so long ๐Ÿ™ I wanna go to one, but it’s quite expensive for me. (no job, no money)
