I’m not a genius, but…

I had an interview for a company called Move Digital today. The position was ‘Social Media Genius’. I’m not even joking about the genius part. Needless to say, I think the interview went really well.

What I liked most was how informal it was which is better than the previous interviews I’ve had before. It was basically like having a chat with a friend!

The guy who owns the company is from Cardiff, so when I mentioned that Doctor Who is my favourite TV show (I take any chance I can take to mention this) he said he remembered David Tennant being chased by hordes of fans one time when he was down there. Honestly, I probably would have joined those fans.

Fingers crossed, anyway! I just have to figure out my options if I do get acccepted because I am still at my other internship at Mutual Media. When the time comes I’m sure I’ll make the right decision (that’s what Mutay said anyway).

Here’s to new opportunities!

There’s a big reveal in tomorrow’s post. Stay tuned.

Glad that the interview has gone well! Is it for another internship or a permanent position?? (I just typed position wrong and Google Chrome suggested that I change it to prostitution, oh dear, I apologise if Google Chrome ever forces me to ask you about your permanent prostitution.)

Hopefully the guy enjoyed your Doctor Who enthusiasm, and hope you get it!

Thank you! It’s for another internship but could lead to a permanent position. Google is the worst, haha. X

I’m glad to hear that the interview went well and I hope that you get the position. I also hope that the guy enjoyed your Doctor Who enthusiasm…although, I imagine that it will help him to remember you when it comes time to choose who gets the position. I imagine that it’s always a good idea to leave a lasting impression and luckily, you didn’t do anything embarrassing like I probably would have managed. ๐Ÿ˜€

I was scared I was going to do something embarrassing like trip down the stairs. D: Interviews are not my strong forte, ahaha.

They aren’t mine either. ๐Ÿ˜› I don’t recall ever doing an interview and actually getting a job…I usually get them because I know someone at the company.

That’s the best type of interview I think – you feel comfortable and can be yourself, it’s good at helping pesky nerves disappear. Good luck for the job! It’ll all work out ๐Ÿ™‚
