A week and two days since my last post.
A WEEK AND TWO DAYS.
I don’t know what’s wrong with me. It’s not that I’ve lost interest in blogging but I can never actually find time. It’s the last day of my half-term today and I’ve been catching up on schoolwork, etc. I’ve given up on doing any more studying though because I keep getting distracted; Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, IM and Skype will be the bloody death of me.
Anyway, I have some BIG news. The interview that I kept going on about for Coventry finally took place on Wednesday, 17th February. Honestly, I don’t know why I was stressing so much because it was absolutely hunky-dory! The lady who interviewed me was really nice and we ended talking about Doctor Who for the first 10 minutes of the interview. I know right, trust me to be the one who got the interviewer who also liked Doctor Who as well. It helped obviously because I felt more relaxed in talking to her and the interview only lasted around 25 minutes which wasn’t bad. She also liked the trailer I did for my Media coursework in year 12. Anyway, she made me an offer straight on the spot! I have to get 240 tariff points from at least 2 A Levels including English and Media. I was surprised to say the least, I didn’t think they’d give me an offer straight away because my friend had her interview the other day but she has to wait to see if she gets an offer.
So, I have all my offers now and just have to accept them and that’s it – no more faffing around with applying via UCAS. UCAS can suck on my big toe – it’s so annoying. Haha.
My Doctor Who boxset arrived the other day! I was on Skype to my friend when it arrived and screamed down the mic in excitement. I think I may have busted his eardrum, haha. I was going to do a Doctor Who marathon this half-term but it came later than expected because it got sent to the wrong depot; silly delivery people. I’ll probably just opt for watching one episode every night. Who cares that I’ve watched every single episode of Doctor Who already? I can never get enough of DW!
My half-term has been uneventful but I went to see Princess and the Frog with my friends on Tuesday. Prince Naveen is so hot. I do not give a monkeys that he is a cartoon; I want to be a Disney Princess. I remember when I used to think I was Ariel from the Little Mermaid. FYI, Prince Eric was hot too. Forget the princesses, it’s all about the princes! 🙂 I went to Coventry on Wednesday and afterwards when we got back to London we detoured to Paperchase before getting home. I bought three new folders and a bag/laptop bag. It’s so eff’n cute. They have these new designs called Happy Noodle; reminds me a bit of TokiDoki. Mum also bought my sister and I new picks for our guitars – mine has the Union Jack on it.
Three of my friends came today to be fitted for the dresses they need to be my debut girls for my eighteenth. Personally, I couldn’t care less about having a big debut party but my mum is so excited because it’s like tradition in the Philippines. She’s so adorable. I am kind of excited for my dress arrives because my uncle is making it and he’s a fashion designer. Not like a big one, but he’s amazingly brilliant!
PS. I’m helping my friend organise a fashion show! I’m in charge of music, making posters and tickets. It’s so exciting 🙂
