Halfterm is over. Boooooo.

A week and two days since my last post.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me. It’s not that I’ve lost interest in blogging but I can never actually find time. It’s the last day of my half-term today and I’ve been catching up on schoolwork, etc. I’ve given up on doing any more studying though because I keep getting distracted; Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, IM and Skype will be the bloody death of me.

Anyway, I have some BIG news. The interview that I kept going on about for Coventry finally took place on Wednesday, 17th February. Honestly, I don’t know why I was stressing so much because it was absolutely hunky-dory! The lady who interviewed me was really nice and we ended talking about Doctor Who for the first 10 minutes of the interview. I know right, trust me to be the one who got the interviewer who also liked Doctor Who as well. It helped obviously because I felt more relaxed in talking to her and the interview only lasted around 25 minutes which wasn’t bad. She also liked the trailer I did for my Media coursework in year 12. Anyway, she made me an offer straight on the spot! I have to get 240 tariff points from at least 2 A Levels including English and Media. I was surprised to say the least, I didn’t think they’d give me an offer straight away because my friend had her interview the other day but she has to wait to see if she gets an offer.

So, I have all my offers now and just have to accept them and that’s it – no more faffing around with applying via UCAS. UCAS can suck on my big toe – it’s so annoying. Haha.

My Doctor Who boxset arrived the other day! I was on Skype to my friend when it arrived and screamed down the mic in excitement. I think I may have busted his eardrum, haha. I was going to do a Doctor Who marathon this half-term but it came later than expected because it got sent to the wrong depot; silly delivery people. I’ll probably just opt for watching one episode every night. Who cares that I’ve watched every single episode of Doctor Who already? I can never get enough of DW!

My half-term has been uneventful but I went to see Princess and the Frog with my friends on Tuesday. Prince Naveen is so hot. I do not give a monkeys that he is a cartoon; I want to be a Disney Princess. I remember when I used to think I was Ariel from the Little Mermaid. FYI, Prince Eric was hot too. Forget the princesses, it’s all about the princes! ๐Ÿ™‚ I went to Coventry on Wednesday and afterwards when we got back to London we detoured to Paperchase before getting home. I bought three new folders and a bag/laptop bag. It’s so eff’n cute. They have these new designs called Happy Noodle; reminds me a bit of TokiDoki. Mum also bought my sister and I new picks for our guitars – mine has the Union Jack on it.

Three of my friends came today to be fitted for the dresses they need to be my debut girls for my eighteenth. Personally, I couldn’t care less about having a big debut party but my mum is so excited because it’s like tradition in the Philippines. She’s so adorable. I am kind of excited for my dress arrives because my uncle is making it and he’s a fashion designer. Not like a big one, but he’s amazingly brilliant!

I’m ashamed now, you’ve been so busy and I’ve just been sitting around doing nothing. I love the look of that poster! I could never make something as good – and you’re website layout just gets better and better =) . Shows how long its been since I’ve been on here, sorry!

BTW, hows the guitar going? I’m truely in love with mine!

OMG DOCTOR WHO BOX SET! I’m jealous!!!! And yes, you have a tendency of meeting people who adore DW (like me and the interview woman)! I wanted that box set so badly, but I couldn’t get it because I need the money for my expedition this year. I guess I’ll watch BBC 3 repeats for as long as possible. Lucky devil you are!

A week and 2 days is nothing! I checked my emails the other day and over 350! I left it for over a month, so it serves me right. You more active than me at least!

Cute bag (makes me quite hungry though LOL). Do you play the guitar with the pic in your mouth or is that just show??? (LOL joking!) Fancy, fancy! Congrats on your interview success, best of luck on choosing wisely and your results!

I have my ‘end of year’ exams in 3 weeks =S (don’t know why they’re called ‘end of year’ because its only 2nd term but hey). After that GCSE (eeeeek nervous).

    Hope for a reply soon!

    thank you ^^

You’re lucky that the interviewer also like Dr. Who. How did you guy start talking about Dr. Who?

your bag and folders are so cute, we don’t have any cute stores over here ๐Ÿ™

Is Eighteenth similar to sweet sixteen? What are debut girls?

OMG!!!! your poster and ticket are fabulous, they look done to me!

Your interviewer like Doctor Who. That must have been ironic and cool at the same time. Congrats on getting all your offers just like that. I bet that darn Doctor Who had something to do with it (:

hehe, You told me you ordered your boxsets and this post was bound to be about the Doctor. Congrats! I believe that you are definately a TRUE fan.

Your turning 18 soon. That’s cool, when? I never knew that was a tradition with the Phillippines either /: What’s your IM btw?

It’s ok for being late. At least you returned the comment! Valentine’s Day is overrated unless your like really in love, married, with kids and stuff. You know, that everlasting love. This year I didn’t get a thing for Valentine’s Day..at least last year I got some chocolate.

Getting into the University should be your first priority. It’s good to see that you have your priorities straight ๐Ÿ˜

ChynnaMae..of course I don’t know where she got it from either but I like XD

eck, sorry for the double comment but my name being misspelled was really annoying me.

  5. February 20, 2010 / 10:31 am

haha so the coventry interview that made you nervous for 3 months just ended up as a Doctor Who fangirl interview haha xD you’re so lucky that the interviewer is a Doctor Who fan, I bet you did very well there
and yeah, that folder reminds me of tokidoki too, but a little less colorful than the tokidoki ones :))
i didn’t know you’re going to be 18 already ๐Ÿ˜€ from what I know debuts have 18 candles (girls) and 18 roses(boys) . I dunno if i’ll have my one too, but I think i’ll exchange it with a ticket to korea or something xD

you have a DOCTOR WHO boxset, why should I be surprised x))

An interviewer who also loves Doctor Who? What are the odds? ๐Ÿ˜› I think it’s too much if I hope that even just one panelist during my interview in March is a Kpop freak. Eck.

At the moment I’m the total opposite of you when it came to blogging. I have ample time to do several entries in one day but for some twisted reason I lost interest. I haven’t even bloghopped so much lately.. Maybe it’s just that I’m sick of my layout (AGAIN) or something.

About the newsletter, I made the backgrounds (and the headline/headers/whatever) in Photoshop, and added the text in MS Publisher. I never knew layout-ing was fun! 8D

Oh I see. My Chinese New Year was fine. I spent more time doing school work instead of playing. ๐Ÿ™

  8. February 21, 2010 / 6:13 am

I’m not a fanatical Dr. Who fan like you, but I’ve seen a few episodes on Syfy, it’s a good show.

Good luck with the fashion show.

  9. February 21, 2010 / 11:11 am

i’ve also lost time to update my blog because of school…

and an interviewer who also loves doctor who seems a matching interviewer for you.. haha

you watched Princess and the Frog? Is it nice??

cool! you’re gonna have your debut soon!!! its really a big tradition here in the philippines! ๐Ÿ˜€

  10. February 25, 2010 / 7:40 pm

A week and two days is not bad!

Same same same! I can never find the time! Yet I find plenty of time to go on Facebook and Tumblr, and Twitter D:

Wow! Well done well done! That’s brilliant that you actually got an offer, and I’m sure you’ll get the tarriff points you need! Good luck! ๐Ÿ˜€

Aaah, I have all this UCAS applying to look forward to.. Gah! Well at least you’ve gotten it over with!

Aaah! So you have all the series’ on box set now! Good times good times! I love my box sets! They are some of my most favourite things ever! I’m having a Doctor Who marathon this weekend with my friend! So excited! I haven’t opened my specials yet so I can watch them with her, haha! Who could EVER get enough of Doctor Who?! ๐Ÿ˜€

Aaah! I want to go see that film! I used to pretend I was Belle, haha, I so wish I was a Disney Princess! ๐Ÿ˜€

Aww, that sounds brilliant! Can I ask what a Debut party is? xD And that dress sounds like it’s going to look amazing!!

Oh and I found out why FanUpdate kept cutting off your comment! Putting a ” cuts off comments on FU, stupid thing x)
