No Excuses

I no longer have an excuse to not blog. I now have a laptop.

Rejoice.

So, what has been happening since my last post? Not much, if I’m perfectly honest. I’ve just been working, lamenting, going to birthday dinners, being sick and slowly counting down the days until I go away for the weekend.

I’ve also spent much of my time watching Korean dramas. It’s kind of like I’ve reverted back to my sixteen year old self, again. Such is life.

Yesterday I got my hands on a Macbook Pro 13″ and I’ve never felt more happy in my whole life. Except for the time when I got my first Macbook, perhaps. Now that I have that out of the way I can start saving for an 160gb iPod classic that I’ve had my eye on for a while. That and a new bedside table because my pile of books really need somewhere to live.

Now that I have this laptop, I’m going to concentrate more on my writing and trying (I mean really trying, not just saying that I’m trying and actually really just watching TV) to get my novel into some sort of readable direction. I should really have a plot, but at the moment it’s all over the place.

Much like my life.

I have a few planned blog posts that were meant to go up over the last couple of weeks, but they should be up within the next couple of weeks instead. Something to do with the library and Orange Is The New Black. You know me – all my posts are random as.

Anyway, I’m off to check what I’ve missed in the blogosphere. In a bit, mis amigos.

Congrats on your new purchase. I don’t think I could survive without my computer. I only have to be away from my blog for a day before I start worrying that I’ve missed out on something important haha!

Good luck with your novel. I wish I was creative enough to write one. 🙂

Wow I haven’t been here in forever!

Congrats on getting the new laptop! I was never really a mac fan, but nothing against others buying one. I recently purchased one too, it’s the Asus Transformer. Mainly for school purposes, but doesn’t mean I can’t blog on it haha.

I’m also really excited to see your novel once it gets into the works. Good luck with that as well! I used to be an aspiring writer but man it gets really hard to try and put all your effort and creativity into it sometimes. But I know you can do it!

Congratulations on getting that new laptop :D. MAC 4 LYFE, GIRLLLLL! Have fun with saving up for that iPod classic~. I’ve watched Korean drama or any drama once *o*. //sonotasian

So now you have a laptop, blog more? :D.

Also, goal after iPod: Save up to see Nancy for delicious food 😀

Wow, your new laptop sounds great! I got one a couple of months ago, but nothing that fancy. I seem to spend more time attached to a screen now (on Facebook, for shame!) which isn’t great haha. Glad you’re back anyway.

I’m sort of writing three novels because I couldn’t decide and I think they are all really rubbish, but nevermind it’s fun. I really struggle with plot. I’m just all like character character character and then they basically just do nothing apart from being characters until I sit down and make action happen. I’m doing a Creative Writing MA so I’m getting workshopped on Wednesday and I’m absolutely terrified. Going to bring tissues along in case the criticism gets too much! Good luck getting your novel sorted!

If you blog about Orange is the New Black I will read it and obsess about it for ages. The end of series 2, though??!!
    xx

When you get your novel finished, I will be so excited, you don’t even understand hahaha. It’s still awesome that you’re writing one- I imagine it’s stressful but so fun 😛

Sorry I haven’t commented for a while! I’ve been swept off my feet with uni related things. They weren’t kidding when they said it was busy, huh? :O
