Cabin fever.

*Congratulations to Meaghan who won my book giveaway!*

This post is later than I planned but better late than never. I always plan to blog like every 3 days but this week I’ve been really busy. No, I haven’t been procrastinating, despite the fact that if you look at my GetGlue profile you’ll see that I have been watching multiple episodes of Castle. I’ve actually been revising.

Revising isn’t something I’ve done in a while. The last time I remember revising was back in 2010 for my A-Levels. My course doesn’t have exams, so the only time I came to close to kind of revising was for my Mandarin exam which I ended up not taking because I had to pay for the test.ย >_<

Basically, I took my theory test for car driving this morning and you’ll be pleased to know I passed. You know when you have a sick feeling in your stomach before a test – yeah, I had that threefold because it’s been ages seen I had a test. It kind of helped that I got to know my result straight after I took the test, so I didn’t have to wait at home agonising. The test itself was actually pretty easy – well, the theory part. There are two parts to the test: the theory part, where you answer multiple choice questions about rules of the road, signs, car safety, etc. and there’s the hazard perception part where you are shown a video and you have to click when you seen oncoming hazards on the road.

I practically aced the theory part, only getting one question wrong. Considering the amount of time I spent pouring over those damn theory test books, I’m not surprised. Plus I had this theory test app on my phone, so I basically spent all week on my phone going over questions. I don’t think I’ve ever revised so hard for a test. I think partly because my mum paid for the test, so I had incentive to pass because if I failed then I’d have to retake thus spending more money and my mum has already put so much toward me learning to drive. The hazard perception section was okay but I could have done better. Either way, I still passed so all is good and I now have 2 years from today to pass my practical test. Fingers crossed.

I have basically shut myself off from the outside for the whole week because of this revision, though. I’ve hardly been out the house unless it was to go to the shop or something. Since I’ve passed and everything, I’ll definitely be trying to go out more next week. I need to get out of this damn house. My dad is driving me crazy always watching what I’m doing. Sigh. Mutay’s working most of next week, I think, so I’ll have to find something to do. I don’t really have any close friends who I can just call up and be like, “Hey, get your booty to the cinema – we’re gonna watch Ted,” or “Shopping. Now.” Most of them are working or just feel the need to ignore me. That’s cool, I’m pretty ignorable. Ha.

In other news, congratulations to all the people who passed their A-Levels and got into the university of their choice. Exciting times ahead for you! (Despite me complaining about uni most of the time)

It’s my birthday next week, Tuesday. 10+10.

Late posts are always better than never! I would love to go back to my old blogging habits where I can blog almost every day.. Except I have nothing to talk about and I usually spend hours coming up with one single post. At least you’re spending your time enjoying those episodes of Castle along with revising.

Congratulations on passing your theory test for driving! It’s good that you passed it, especially since you haven’t taken a test in a while. It sounds like your theory test is far more advanced than what we have here. We call it our permit test which basically asks questions about the road and such. Except we do it the old school way with a piece of paper and a bubble sheet.

With that much studying and preparation for the theory test, you deserved to passed! Good luck with the practical test! I am sure with a lot of practice, you can easily pss it. After I got my permit, I had to wait 6 months (since I was under 18). I failed the first time & practiced for another 5 months and passed it the second time around. It’s mostly because the place where I took my test is a lot stricter than the other facilities but it’s the closest to my house. I don’t know how the driving law goes over there, but I am pretty sure you can pass it easily!

It sounds like you had a lot of things on your plate as far as revision goes! Once this wave is over, you’e free~ :). You’re not alone when it comes to not having any other clothes friends to call up. Most of my close friends are moving up north this week :/. But you can make do :).

Unfortunately thanks to our horrid economy, I am stuck going to a junior college for now. It’s actually not a bad thing because I am saving money ^__^! I shall save your birthday wishes for next week ;).

I am usually patient, but if you’re friends with me in a different level, I expect better from you than to keep me waiting for too long XD. Hey, you went through a relationship and now, you’re a stronger girl than ever. You learn from experiences! ๐Ÿ™‚

Brave was a decent movie. Though.. Uhh, we went to watch the movie for other reasons that shall not be discussed. I’ll keep it at that as far as commenting in the public goes ;). Haha. The whole storyline is a valuable lesson that kids should learn. A true Disney movie indeed :).

I suppose people don’t think you care because of the way you approach them. If you disagree with them (for the best of them) and they don’t like it, they just assume that! D:

    Take care (:!

Theory test for car driving? We call it the permit test here and the second test is call the driving test or on-the-wheel driving test. I passed my first theory/permit test last year, too ๐Ÿ™‚ A lot of my friends had to take it more than once because they missed too many points. For some odd reason I passed it on my first try, despite the fact that I know very little of the rules lol

That’s cool that there’s a theory app! It would have helped me so much, but I just read the book of rules the last minute and then took the test the next morning. I think I just got lucky.

haha maybe your dad wants to spend quality time with you..or just being nosey lol

P.S. Cute new theme ๐Ÿ™‚ But the font is really tiny 0__0

Congrats on passing your theory test! But to be honest, that’s the easy part. It’s the driving test that is the worst. I technically failed mine but she passed me because I knew everything that I did wrong. I was in tears by the end of the test. I hope yours goes better than mine haha.

Congratulations on passing your driving test!!! Well done! :):) all of your work paid off!!

As soon as I saw your blog title I laughed – because it describes exactly how I feel at the moment, just from a few days of being locked up doing uni assignments! I can imagine how you feel!!

Im lucky in the sense that I have close friends calling me up often saying those types of things, but it gets a bit overwhelming sometimes when I need to be at home studying or getting things done, and I feel like I should be other places! So it isn’t all bad.. It sounds like your house is doing your head in though.. Maybe you should get out and do something relaxing, even if it is on your own! Or call up a friend you haven’t seen in awhile and ask them to hang out, the worst thig that can happen is that they’ll say no. and if not, you’ll have heaps to catch up on!!

Hope you aren’t too stressed! ๐Ÿ™‚ it was nice to come across your blog!
