Fluctuating between tiredness and hyperness I somehow made it to the BGO meet up.

To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect. People commented that I didn’t seem nervous, but that was probably due to the two big coffees I’d drank to stay awake.

Thanks to Joe Blogs Blogger Network, I was invited to my first blogger’s meet. I’ve been blogging since I was 16, but this is the first time that I’ve been offered the opportunity. I am eternally grateful to you guys.

The aim of the night was to raise money for World Wildlife Foundation and also “beat the boss”. I’m one of those people who will pretend not to know what’s going, just to have it explained and then observe. I was doing pretty well, until I drank too much prosecco and went all in. Still, a fellow blogger and I managed to win some money on the Jungle Trouble Slot Game!

Of course, there were prizes to win throughout the night and Claire, the bubbliest person I’ve ever met in my life, won Jeff the dinosaur. I found a kindred spirit in fellow writer, Charlotte, and petite power with Holly. Don’t you find it strange when you talk to someone online, and then you actually meet them in real life. Total surreal moment (Psst. Hi, Haydn).

Check out the #bgomeetup tag for more amazing bloggers.

The night was fun, despite me being a nervous wreck inside, and the pizza was delicious so you can’t really complain there.

There's little something on your face, Claire.

That’s so cool that you got to to go to a blogger meet up! I think I was technically blogging since I was 14? Dang, it’s crazy that it’s been so long.

The event looks super fun! I don’t know of any blogger meet ups here but I also haven’t been seeking them out. How did you get the invite? ๐Ÿ˜€

I seriously can’t believe that we’ve been blogging for so long.

I got it through Twitter ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve never actually had a proper Twitter for my blog until this year, so I’m glad that I finally made one. It was super fun, though. Pizza and prosecco – can’t go wrong, there.

It’s so cool how you go to these blogging meetups! Even I haven’t been to one of these meet (esp. since there are probably thousands of bloggers in LA). Even though you went all in, you still have fun, right right? Hope you had fun throughout the night and go to one of these cool meets again!

If it weren’t for Twitter, I’d be going nowhere. To be honest, I’m happy staying at home watching TV as well ๐Ÿ˜›

I did have fun, though! It was fun learning blackjack – there was roulette, as well, but I didn’t get to try that out.

Meeting up with other bloggers is something that I’ve always wanted to do. It’s great that you had the opportunity to do so. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’d be nervous too!

If you’re ever down in London, shoot me an email. Or if I ever go to Liverpool, I’ll give you a shout! ๐Ÿ™‚

This sounds very nerve-wracking, but also really fun. I’d have probably chickened out last minute and not gone! I’m so bad IRL around new people. And I’d probably get too excited about the gambling and end up with no money (I’m like a backwards cash machine in amusement arcades so real gambling would probably murder my bank account, oh dear).

Glad to hear you had a nice time! Meeting other bloggers would be so cool, I’d love to do it.

Oh, I’m usually bad around new people too, but I’m getting there. I think because I got back from Spain where everyone was really friendly, I was just like “OMG, HI NICE TO MEET YOU” to everyone and they probably weren’t expecting it. The British way was prevalent at the meet up. Still, it was good fun ๐Ÿ˜€

I’d be nervous too if I were going to a meetup where there are multiple people. Heck, I was slightly nervous before meeting two of the bloggers separately. For the record: I enjoyed meeting with them both, so it’s all good. xD

Glad you had a wonderful time meeting fellow bloggers! I certainly hope there’s a get-together at my city, so that I could meet more bloggers! Of course, I prefer knowing them online first. Even though we don’t reveal all of ourselves, having a good sense of each other’s character makes in-person introductions a whole lot easier.

I really wanna meet the bloggers I’ve known for years, or since the beginning of last year/this year. But y’all are all overseas, so that might take a while – haha. One of these days!

Yeah. I hardly wear make up so it is a refreshing change. Then again, I would prefer it to be more on skin care course than make up course.

Been a blogger for so many years, I have mever got invited to any blogger only event. Oh well. Sometimes I wonder if I should put.more effort in publicising my blog so that I can get to those blogger only event…

Skin care course would be so good. My skin used be so bad – it’s better now, but I definitely would have benefited with a skin care course.

You should Twitter more actively if you want to get invited. To be honest, I only properly publicised my blog at the beginning of this year, hence the invite.

Thanks for the tip! I hardly twitter on my site twitter. In fact, twitter is for me to read the news. Haha.

Your macbook lasted for 6 years? Wow! It is definitely worthwhile to invest in a macbook if it can last for so many years.
