Just a couple of minutes before I started writing this post I was distracted by a video of kittens waiting to get their food. To say that I sat still for the whole 4 minutes or so, might make me sound a little sad. I think I’m turning into a cat lady.
In other news, it has been a fairly good week over here in the good ol’ England. It was my sister’s birthday on Tuesday. My baby sister is now a teenager. Maybe I should stop calling her my baby sister, now. Naaah. I can’t believe that time flies by so fast, though. I can acutally remember when she was still a little baby running around
with the craziest Afro you’ve ever seen.
We did a little shopping in the central London, which was nice. I picked up a few things including some lip balm from The Body Shop because my lips are the dankiest ever. I also got some mini Batman bookmarks from Waterstones, Sigmund Freud post-it notes and some bunting from Urban Outfitters that say ‘Queen of Fucking Everything’ which I plan to hang up in my new uni room. I also need to get some fairy lights for my room.
We ended up going to Wagamama, which is this awesome Japanese restaurant. I ordered chilli ramen noodles and beef skewers. They were exactly what they were, though, chilli! And they came in this massive bowl, which I couldn’t even finish. The food was delicious, though, and I’m definitely going back again.
It’s been sunny these past few days, which is a surprise seeing as it’s now September. We had some scorching weather – something we should have had in August. Can’t really complain though because it definitely better than rain. Spent most of Wednesday in the park tanning my life away. Yesterday was spent ironing, tidying my room and trying to figure what I should be bringing back to uni. Life is hard.
My verdict on the new episode of Doctor Who? Loved it! I completely fell in love with the character Oswin Oswald, and I hate Moffat for doing that. He is such a troll. Yeah, I can’t wait for the next episode. It’s like all the fandoms crossed over in this episode – you’ve got Arthur Weasley and Argus Filch from Harry Potter and Lestrade from Sherlock just chilling. Gonna be so good. I started screaming when I saw the teaser, haha.
T minus 2 weeks until move-in day.
