“You are tiny. I can see the whole of time and space, every single atom of your existence, and I divide them.”
– Rose Tyler, Doctor Who: The Parting of Ways, Series 1:Ep. 13
Okay, so you probably already know that my Doctor Who: The Complete Specials boxset has come judging from my excited reaction on my Robo.to recording. SAY NO MORE. I screamed when I saw the package on my bed. I didn’t even have to open it to know what it was. All that needs to be ordered now is the Series 1 -4 boxset and I am set for halfterm. Excited? OH YES.
The BBC are legends for commissioning Doctor Who.
I apologise for being away from the blog for so long, I’ve been so busy with school and stuff. (And yet she still has time to Twitter and Tumblr all the fricking time, I hear you say. Yeah, with Twitter and Tumblr I can post random shizzle but I can never find time to write a proper blog. So, here it is! :D)
My affiliates are amazing, still commenting despite me being AWOL. It’s all love.
To my amazement, I have actually been doing schoolwork. I’ve started reading Tess of the D’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy for English. Why is it that even if you’re a fast reader, it takes you forever to read a book for English? D: TotD is pretty good so far – and I despise Alec D’Urberville; he took advantage of Tess. Okay, so I read the plot summary but there’s no harm in that. Is there? Ha. The language is a bit of m’eh to get through but it’s alright – I understand it for the best part. But, to be honest, the plot summary made me want to read it more than I wanted to at first because I dread reading books for English. I heart Sparknotes. Fast becoming my best friend.
We also created blogs for Media Studies. Okay, so the others in my class were calling themselves the Media Club. I was like, let me exclude myself from this nonsense. You can check mine out, if you wish – although it’s a bit boring for obvious reasons. My teacher is considering calling his “Mr. Dobbin is an effing legend”. I beg to differ. -_- These teachers – trying to act cool. Pssshfft.
We had more snow on Wednesday. Seriously, this snow is starting to really irritate me. My interview was meant to be on that Wednesday but they rescheduled it which I’m glad they did because I don’t think I would have been able to get to the train station even because of the buses being stupid and deciding they couldn’t even bother to get up hills and stuff. Oh, pish posh. I got a lift to school but I went in for no reason because my Classics teacher didn’t make it in and my Media teacher was God knows where? Still, I managed to make a snowman with my friends – we named him Snowy the Man. Yes, very creative. I know. 🙂
I shall now be off to go over my ideas for Chapter 3 of the Ace Chronicles, Twitter, Tumblr and then probably watch some Doctor Who because don’t forget, I do LOVE it so. You guys should get Robo.to.
All the actors who have played the Doctor. Peter Davison, Paul McGann and David Tennant are UNFTASTIC. Matt Smith is on the other side but m’eh, I’d rather not have him hovering over my desk just yet. This is what motivates me. Say no more.
