8 Photos of Happiness

I’ve seen this tag floating around the blogosphere, specifically from Pauline and Tara, and then Michelle tagged me in it! Yay! Thank you so much Michelle πŸ™‚ Thanks to Ariel for creating the tag, as well.

When I was first thinking about what photos to use, I wasn’t entirely sure. I have so many photos that it was very hard to choose which ones would be my 8. Let me stop rambling, though… without further ado here are my 8 photos of happiness!

My first two photos are actually baby photos. Despite my angry face, this photo makes me laugh so much. My face pretty much encapsulates how I felt about taking photos when I was younger, but I love the happiness on my mum’s face because you can tell she’s just happy that she caught me in the photo. I’m either angry about the photo taking or just hungry. It goes either way ? Check out that fresh 2 death outfit, too.

There are only a few photos of my mum, my dad and I together these days, but this one from when I was born is my favourite. I’ll be honest and let you know my mum and dad look EXACTLY the same as they did back in the day. I inherit those young looking genes from my mumma and my dadda.

This was taken on a beach at a resort we went to in Manila. I remember how relaxing it was just chilling at the beach, and not thinking about any problems. I wish I could go back to the Philippines.

I bought a fisheye lens for my iPhone for cheap on Amazon, and it was a pretty good spend. This photo was taken on the Red Stairs in Times Square and I just love it because you can just see how immense New York is. I remember this was the day after we met Joy for the first time ever, and it was pretty freaking sweet.

SEE ALSO:  Cabin fever.

This was my first ever Comic Con and it was the best experience ever. I was glad I got to dress up with my friends – plus the fact that people actually recognised me as Two Face was pretty dope. I’ll never forget my first Comic Con but I can’t wait for the ones to come πŸ™‚ FYI, we’re missing the lady!Joker.

One of my favourite haunts in London is Adventure Bar and these two girls gave me a night to remember when we spontaneously visited one night. It was a night of drinking, beer pong, more drinking and making friends with strangers. As you do.

She’s my best friend, ride or die, wifey – how could I not include her in my 8 photos of happiness? I love this photo, though it doesn’t show the extent of how much we jokes we have together. This was taken on my 22nd birthday after we ate at Lutong Pinoy, so I think we’re probably laughing about food babies. Haha.

I don’t really need to explain this one. My face is hilarious and I’m being kissed by this fool (jk, he’s far from a fool). That day was lovely because we ate a lot and watched Bridesmaids on a big screen in Hyde Park πŸ™‚

Now, I’d like you to share your 8 photos of happiness! I tag everyone who is reading this post – go spread the love ?

I love all these photos because I feel all the good times you had and all the important people in your life. I love the family photo. I don’t have one from when I was younger so in my post I have a more recent one with my brother too.

I love the Comic Con photo! I haven’t ever dressed up so awesomely before but I think it would be way more fun with friends. None of my friends are into that stuff haha. I have dressed up as some characters on occasion but I never put in that much effort. It amazes me when people do.

Making friends with strangers is funny. I have bumped into a lot of people just from going to concerts alone. Never really ended up talking to those people again but I remember getting photos with some randoms then finding them on the photographer’s website (or the website the photographer worked for). xD

Aww, thanks Georgie! I’m going to take a look at your post after I finish replying to comments πŸ™‚

As it was my first Comic-Con I thought I might as well go ALL out. It was super fun! You should try it sometime, even if it is by yourself. I’m going again this year, but I think I’ll just take photos because I don’t the time or money to make a good costume.

I ALWAYS make friends with strangers, which is funny because my mum always told me to never talk to strangers. I haven’t been killed yet, so I think I must be doing something right πŸ˜›

Those are some very nice photos and lovely memories. I was fine with taking photos when I was younger, although I always had a serious face. I don’t really smile.

    The last photo is adorable.

I love your photos! The baby ones are so cute.

I love your comic con outfit. It’s brilliantly made. I’m thinking of doing Sally Jupiter from Watchmen this year. If I can manage to make it haha. My sewing skills are way below par.

I’ll try to do this tag tomorrow.

Aww, I love your baby photos! I also think that’s a really cool photo in Times Square. The fish eye lens really does help show how much is going on there. You and your friends look awesome in the Comic Con photo too! I think all of your costumes look great πŸ˜€
