Welcome to my new domain. *pauses for dramatic effect*
Although, that wasn’t needed. Haha. I am SO sorry for not getting backinto the blogging world any sooner but with university hassle, my birthday party and to top it all off me being hacked I had to move to a new domain as I had lost all of files, etc. Mutay remains on my old domain though as she was unaffected, so all is good on that aspect.
CHYNNA ASHLEY IS NOW AN ADULT! Hurrah – this means I can buy alcohol legally and get into nightclubs legally and buy knives.. to chop people up, of course. Only joking. My birthday party was quite literally amazing. Best night of my life, to be perfectly honest. My mum pulled so many strings to get my party together. I love her so much, man. I had my eighteen roses dance (some Filipino tradition that I didn’t even know I was doing until my mum was like, “Stand in the middle of the dance floor! 18 guys are going to give you roses and then dance with you,”) which was erm… amusing? Haha! If you are friends with me on Facebook then you can do have a look at the pictures – if not then you can either befriend me or look out for them on my Flickr account 🙂
I’m also going to university *blows party trumpet* After all of that hassle, I’m actually going to university. Oh, my, gosh. Next big adventure, eh? Basically, I’m still going to Coventry University but to do a different course because I didn’t get into Journalism & English because of my sh*tty grades (C, D, E for anyone asking). I’m now doing Communication, Culture & Media – sounds fancy, non?
The Communication, Culture and Media course provides you with the practical and theoretical knowledge you need to explore and explain the rapidly changing landscape of media, culture and communications in the 21st Century.
There was also a big fuss about my accommodation. I’m not going into Halls (bum) but I managed to get private accommodation that’s still owned by the university. I will now be living at 65 Bramble St. if anyone wants to come and visit me. It just got recently built, ensuite and £400 per month including all my bills. It’s a really good place to live as well because the Student Centre is like around corner and the building where are my lectures are is like 5 minutes away 🙂
It’s kind of daunting really because everything’s happening so fast. I’m going to be moving in 25th September! Ah, scary stuff.
So, here’s to me getting into university, turning 18 and surviving being hacked! Cheers!
