Current attempt: Trying to buy a Polaroid One600 Classic Instant Film Camera (2 days, 10h left, 2 bids) – 101 things to do in 1001 days
I’ve wanted a Polaroid for AGES now, so this is an excuse to buy one. I’ve also wanted to document a day-in-the-life for a while now, so that should be particularly interesting. Anyway, wish me luck in buying it on eBay especially with the fact that you can be out-bidded so easily (cry)
I’ve been watching this anime called Skip Beat! It’s about this girl named “Kyoko Mogami, a 16-year-old girl who discovers that her childhood friend and romantic goal, Sho Fuwa, only keeps her around to act as a maid and earn his living expenses, as he works his way to become the top pop idol in Japan. Furious and heart broken, she vows to get revenge by beating him in show business.” – Pretty interesting story line, right? It’s been SO funny, so far – I am fiercely hoping for a second season but at the moment I highly doubt it will come about. Will have to make do with the manga for now.
I found an online book store (The Book Depository) which sells manga books for quite cheap, so I will definitely be visiting that sight often – especially if I want to be finishing Ouran High School Host Club. I have been craving the second volume but it’s currently priced at £6.99 in bookshops. I can’t really afford to spend that every week, because knowing me I’d want to read one every week seeing as I finish reading them PRETTY quickly.
I had a silly conversation with Rob last night after I got back in from going out with Mutay (she treated me to food! More on that later in the post…). We had already said goodbye to each other but yet we were still on the phone for another 45 minutes. I love phone calls like that. They make me feel all mushy inside…
Mutay and I went to the West End yesterday, which was fun. We initially went to get some make-up for her mother but they didn’t stock any, so as not to feel like it was a wasted journey we just walked around the shops and stuff – Mutay treated me at this little Malaysian-Singaporean restaurant we went to. We bought had beef rendang which is beef with this sauce that had lemon grass, galangal, ginger, turmeric and chillies with jasmine rice. It was delicious. We were both stuffed after eating – I think I had grown a food baby (argh)
It’s back to Coventry tomorrow and uni on Tuesday for a life of presentations and essays – fun…
Day 28: Write a letter to someone you haven’t spoken to in a long time
I’m sorry that things were bad the way I left but I truly hope that you have at last found happiness. Despite the fact that we are friends on Facebook, we don’t speak for which I regret a little bit. I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings with the way I rejected you but you have to understand that I am an immensely awkward girl… which is hardly an excuse, but there nothing else I can say. I hope that in the future you will find someone who will love you as equally as you love them.
